I've forever been in Awe of the men and women who blazed the trail west for us... how they got the wagons thru all this! Puts a whole new meaning to the annoying word "Recalculating"
I can feel the cold looking at your picture. I never would have made it as a pioneer. The first time I had to climb a mountain or cross a big river I would have laid down & told everyone to go on without me.
I want to know why I can click on your picture & it's nice & big but when I click on mine, Erin's Karen's or Patty's it is only medium size. When I click on Teresa's it's tiny?
I have been off line for the last few days so did not get to see this photo while knowing from Jackie what the title was... I thought she might have captured a dashboard with a view of the highway since family trips always included MUCH "How long till...".
I agree, how did they do it? I think burying a family member along the way as was often the case would have made me want to give up right there.
